Life Is To Short

Life is too short …
to eat mixed nuts; stop picking out the cashews, just buy some cashews.
to keep reading something you don’t like just because you think you should.
to be with someone who treats you badly.
to be obsessed with cleaning.
to be obsessed with being perfect.
to listen to those who say you are too young (or too old) to fall in love.
to never eat chocolate cake again.
to never try anything new.
to fight with your children (or parents) over every little thing.  Pick your battles.
to refuse to watch foreign films; reading subtitles is worth it.
to limit your dreams.
Life is too short …
to base your value as a person on what you are wearing . . . or who you are with.
to never spend time in a museum … or library … or at the zoo.
to be obsessed with what you look like or how fat/skinny you think you are.
to spend time with people who judge you based on your looks or your size.
to beat yourself up for making mistakes.  Much better to learn from them.
to let others define you.  Find yourself for yourself.
to treat others badly.  It will inevitably come back to bite you.
to go to movies whose best/funniest moments are in the preview.
to look to others for your happiness.  (The burden you place on them is unfair).
to never spend time with your elders. Old and wise are used together for a reason.
Life is too short … to keep trying to make him/her love you.
