Hot Fun In The Summer Time...
I'm a bit of a planner...
But yesterday, I learned something...
Sometimes, you just have to go with it...
Because the best days...
Aren't always the ones that have been planned out...
Fun, friends, sun...
ocean...
put those together on any given day...
mix in a little boogie...
and it can be one of the very best of days.
Sunburned cheeks...
A little sand throwing for good measure...
Living in Maine is a privilege. Having a 16 year old daughter that still wants to spend time with you, even more so.
Beautiful days at the beach, and days spent with her are few and far between...
We had such a long winter...
I am going to take advantage of EVERY day we have...
to enjoy the weather, my daughter, her friends and mine.
Relationships with those I love are more of a priority for me these days. Actually, these past couple of years.
Life is to short to spend doing anything else. House cleaning, grocery shopping, laundry.
Worry, hurt feelings, grudges...
Some things can wait for a rainy day. Others you just need to let go of. I am learning to do both, and boy does it feel good.
Right down to my toes good. (insert smiley face here)
Days like yesterday will pass me by if I let them.
I hope for days like this for you, and yours.
And P.S., Blue Eyes just called and asked me to go on a date. Twenty seven years of love. I'm one blessed girl.

Vintage Camper Love...
I was never one for camping...
It always seemed like sooo much work.
I've been a time or two with Blue Eyes and the peeps.
I have found that I love the look and feel of these old beauties...
Just big enough, and cozy enough for Blue Eyes and me.
Now thats what I'm talking about.
Yeah, I could do this... Do you go camping with your family?
Guess I'll start looking on Craigs List.
