Irena Sendler 1910-2008 A 98 year-old German woman named Irena Sendler recently died. During WWII, Irena worked in the Warsaw Ghetto as a plumbing/sewer specialist. Irena smuggled Jewish children out; infants in the bottom of the tool box she carried and older children in a burlap sack she carried in the back of her truck. She also had a dog in the back that she trained to bark when the Nazi soldiers let her in and out of the ghetto. The soldiers wanted nothing to do with the dog, and the barking covered the kids’ and infants’ noises. Irena managed to smuggle out and save 2500 children. She eventually was caught, and the Nazis broke both her legs, arms and beat her severely. Irena kept a record of the names of all the kids she smuggled out and kept them in a glass jar buried under a tree in her backyard. After the war, she tried to locate any parents that may have survived and reunited some of the families. Most had been killed. She helped those children get placement into foster family homes or adopted. Last year Irena was up for the Nobel Peace Prize. She was not selected. Al Gore won - for a slide show on Global Warming

This is a photo of just four of the six beautiful girls, in a family of ten, whose mother I so love. I read this recently, and I thought of her...
"When you make loving others the story of your life, there’s never a final chapter, because the legacy continues. You lend your light to one person & he or she shines it on another & another & another."
You are an amazing mother Kim. I am blessed to call you friend. Your legacy lives on...

It's Going To Be One Of Those Days... Or Is It
You know when you have one of those days that the enemy starts the night before to ruin... bad dreams all night, no sleep. Wake up to no hot water, furnace not working. Even though the furnace guy was there the day before cleaning and all was fine.
You know the day is going to be busy, because Tuesday always is...
But hold on a minute. Lets just stop. Stop right here. Take a deep breath.
Lets remember all that is important. I mean REALLY important. Whatever that is for each of us... no matter what the enemy throws at us even before our feet hit the floor in the morning...
There isn't one thing that will come my way today that God hasn't already prepared me to handle. But I need to remember to lean on Him. Not myself, but Him. Know that the day belongs to Him, and all that unfolds before me, and I will not allow the enemy to ruin what could be a great day.
Besides, if he was starting the night before to ruin it, who knows what great things are ahead...
And the bottom line for me is, I know who I am in Christ. I know my peeps are alive and safe. I have a beautiful home, husband that loves me more then I could have ever dreamed of, and sooo much more... I have nothing, NOTHING, to complain about, and so much to be grateful for.
Today is going to be a GREAT day.

Look Whats For Sale...
The house used for the movie everyone loved and cried at, Marley & Me...
The house has 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and sits on almost 16 acres. The interiors as well as exteriors were used in the movie.
This is how the kitchen looked when filming, with Jennifer Aniston...
This is how it looks in the listing...

Hugs From My Heart
"Be real, be respectful, be kind to all that come your way. Inspire, inspire those close to you to be their best, to go after their Dreams and that you're on their Team. Find the greatness in others and; if they see it not help them to open their eyes. Each of us has something uniquely different that sets us apart. Find this in those close to you and; encourage them to show it the World. And love, love completely and; thoroughly.
